“Personally, I support using various sources of energy for such a country as Lithuania. We have the experience and we can have more diversified energy in our balance. Considering that a nuclear power plant is cleaner and still cheaper than others, I am inclined to see Lithuania as a nuclear energy country,” she told reporters after meeting with Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg in Vilnius on Tuesday.

“I am in favor of an efficient, safe, and modern nuclear power plant, if it’s affordable for us and if we can build it,” she added.
